Choosen despite both a lack of financial backing, contacts, and constant death threats from Orthodox Jews, Dana International won the right to represent her country in the worldwide Eurovision Contest.

For less worldculture conscious folks, the Eurovision Song Contest is our planet's biggest musical event. Haven't heard of it? You must be in America, just like me. Sorry. There is a planet out there. They do stuff. The Planetary Sport is Football (Soccer in American), the Planetary Food is Rice, and the Planetary Religion is Buddhism, based on totalling up all of mankind - just so you know.

Dana, a transsexual, is the the winner of Our Planet's largest singing contest. Also, this is the first time in 20 years that Israel has ever won!

This site, I, personally congratulate Dana on her victory. I am more than proud to have this courageous woman representing the planet of my birth.
